Jardine: Press ahead with aviation bill

Edinburgh West MP, Christine Jardine, has called on the UK Government to press ahead with the Aviation Bill to reshape the UK’s airspace management and tackle the emerging danger created by drones in a recent Westminster debate.

Christine said: “It’s ridiculous that the UK’s air traffic management systems haven’t been substantially modernised since the 1950s. It is vital as we seek to recover from this crisis and make sure people have confidence that we are doing all we can to deliver more efficient, greener journeys that work for both passengers and those living in the flight paths.”
